Affected Services: DNS (131.91.124.48), Network registration, DHCP
Affected Systems: DNSjup1, dhcpjup1, ldapjup1
Description of Maintenance: This change plan encompasses several changes.  First, the host operating system for the DNS, LDAP and DHCP servers at the Jupiter campus will be upgraded from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 (Oracle) to Scientific Linux 6.  Second, the host Hypervisor will be upgraded from VMWare ESXi Free to Microsoft Hyper-V on the Jupiter Network Registration Host (vmwjup1). Third, the new DNS, LDAP and DHCP servers will be storage migrated from the staging server to the upgraded production server.
User impact: This will cause intermittent issues with DNS, DHCP and LDAP at Jupiter.  However, systems with valid leases will automatically use the DNS server at PSL during this time.
