Banner production forms access will be intermittently unavailable between 8am-9am today, January 18th. This is to correct a problem that appeared with the recent update of Java 7.

WebFOCUS production will be unavailable this Monday morning (1/20/2014) from 8:00am to 10:00am in order to prepare for a software upgrade from version 7 to 8.

Emergency Network Maintenance – Wednesday January 15 from 5:00 – 5:45 am
Communications Infrastructure will be performing emergency network maintenance from 5:00a.m. until 5:45a.m. on Wednesday January 15, 2014 to resolve issues with connectivity. During this time there will be a network outage that will affect connectivity to the Internet, telephones, and all network traffic within the university.
Please be advised that calls between campuses as well as off campus calls may require dialing a seven or ten digit number. In case of an emergency during this period, the FAU Police Department can be reached at 561-271-5163.

Network: Internet Provider FLR Maintenance on 1-5-2014 at 6:00 am
Starting at 6:00 am on 1/5/2014, FAU’s Internet service provider (FLR) will be performing a software upgrade on the Miami FLR core node. We expect the node to be unavailable for a total of up to 15 minutes while the upgrade is performed.

Resolved: Echo360 Web Interface Slow
This re-indexing operation is now complete and the Echo web interface is responsive once again.

The Echo360 class video system is currently undergoing a resource re-indexing operation which is causing it’s web interface to respond slowly.
This process is expected to complete by 11pm tonight and at that time the web interface will respond normally again.
