OIT Systems Maintenance, May 12, from 12:01AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/12/2022 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:


Desktop Configuration Changes
Description of change: ​OIT will be performing configuration changes on computer systems connected to the FAU domain.
Downtime window start: 5/12/2022 12:01 AM
Downtime window end: 5/12/2022 12:30 AM
Affected services: ​Windows logon sessions
Expected End-user impact: All windows desktops/laptops/servers will be configured to lock the user session after 15 minutes of inactivity. Having a video playing, PowerPoint open, etc. will keep the screen from being locked. Digital signs that have been identified and sent to security have been exempted.


Database Maintenance
Description of change: ​Applying latest patches and upgrades to production databases.
