Description of change: OIT is upgrading a couple backend servers responsible for various file transfers for automated jobs

Affected services: Automated processes that require file transfers to and from fausftp and fausftp2
Expected End-user impact: None. User impact would more likely be application group and functional areas who rely on either fausftp or fausftp2 for automated file transfers as this upgrade is being performed during the maintenance window, it has been general practice to not schedule file transfers during this window. However, relevant users should verify their automated jobs afterwards to ensure that the upgrade did not adversely affect their varied scripts.

Description of change: OIT will be performing network maintenance ​that may cause a momentary disruption to single sign-on on Wednesday, November 24th from 12:01 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.

Downtime window end: 11/24/2021 1:00 AM
Affected services: OIT services hosted at Azure and Google Cloud Platform will experience downtime lasting a couple of minutes
Expected End-user impact: ​Any service at Azure or Google Cloud Platform will experience a short disruption to service. The most visible is single sign-on hosted in Azure, however Boca should handle any requests and disruption should be transparent to the end user. The OIT cloud services mostly host DR-style systems currently.
