On Thursday June 16th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Davie Campus. Other Southern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All calls originating from the Davie campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Davie campus, the ten digit number might be required. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone. We will be doing upgrades to network switches in the Unix racks in Computing Center, Room 102 during our maintenance window (5:00am-7:00am) tomorrow morning (Tuesday, June 7, 2011). The following systems will be affected.
RU03 – switch boc22cm102sw822 – config changes, CATOS upgrade, reboot
RU04 – switch boc22cm102sw821 – config changes only RU04 – switch boc22cm102fsw836 – config changes, IOS upgrade, reboot
RU06 – switch boc22cm102sw830 – config changes only
Class recordings recovered
The course recordings have been recovered and we are now double checking all links in Blackboard to ensure all has been recovered accurately and correcting any problems that we find. This process should be completed soon.
Completed – MyFAU restart on 4/14 at 3:30a
We will be performing a restart of the MyFAU system at 3:30a to activate better monitoring tools for the portals. The restart takes about 20 mins so the system will be back up by 4am. LDAP will not be affected.

On Thursday April 14th starting at 5:00pm through 8:00pm CSI will be performing system maintenance on our Xpressions (voicemail) servers. During this timeframe users located in the Culture and Society Building, New College of Engineering, and Davie West will be unable to leave or retrieve messages.
