The SafeAssign plagiarism detection tool in Blackboard is currently experiencing delays due to high usage.  This might result in longer paper processing times.  We regret any inconvenience that this may cause.

On Wednesday March 30th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages.

All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required.

In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/17/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, users may have experienced a 30 minute delay in the synchronization of their password between Active Directory and MyFAU. All problems are currently resolved and passwords should now be in sync.

At approximately 4:35 pm the FAU network experienced a disruption. It has since returned to operating status. The Networking department is looking into the cause and will provide more information when it becomes available.

Beginning on Monday, March 07, 2011, IRM will be upgrading the networking infrastructure to implement a redundant Internet connection. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network and telephone systems during the implementation and testing of the new connection. IRM will begin testing the network and telephone services on Monday, March 07 between 12:01 am and 7:00 am. If necessary, testing will continue on Tuesday, March 08, Wednesday, March 09,Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, 2011 between 12:01 am and 7:00 am.

Please be advised that calls between campuses as well as off campus calls may require dialing a seven or ten digit number. In case of an emergency during this period, the FAU Police Department can be reached at 561-271-5163.
