Clicking the Self-Service in MyFAU links intermittently displays the MyFAU login page instead of taking the user to Self-Service.
It appears to be a problem with one of the portals and we are working on resolution.
The FAU Self-Service and Banner systems will be unavailable Saturday, Feb. 19, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the Banner operating system undergoes a system upgrade.
This will affect the following services:
• Banner Forms (INB) access
• FAU Self-Service (including registration, transcripts, grades and payments)
There was a brief network outage from 10:16 AM – 10:21 AM.
AT&T and IRM will perform emergency network maintenance on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 starting 12:01am, which will affect FAU’s primary network connection. During the maintenance, FAU’s secondary network connection will provide Internet connectivity for FAU. Network interruptions will be experienced as we move between the primary and secondary connections.
At approximately 9:00 AM this morning, the FLRPrimaryInternet, FLRPrimaryI2, and FLRnetPrimary connections were down. We were also experiencing a problem with the FLRSecondaryI2 connection and it was also down. Our Network team was notified immediately, and proceeded to work with AT&T to resolve the issue.
As of 11:30 AM the FLR connections were back up and are currently running. Network on-call is continuing to monitor them in the event of any future problems.
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/03/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

– Who does it impact? Can affect INB users and scheduled jobs during this time only

Starting at 11PM on Monday 1/31/2011, FLR – FAU’s internet provider – will undergo maintenance which may result in a potential interruption of service from Miami to Orlando.
FLR (FAU’s internet provider) had an equipment upgrade in Miami on 1/30/2011 between 10PM and 1AM, which affected primary FLR. We were up and running on Secondary FLR during the maintenance.
Systems Maintenance
Due to systems maintenance on Thursday, 1/20/2011, the following processes will be affected during the 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM maintenance window:
* Internet Native Banner (INB) /Forms Access will be down from 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM
* Appworks will be down from 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Additionally, a change to Active Directory will be made which will allow users to login to SharePoint without being prompted for their password.
