The FAU Self-Service and Banner systems will be unavailable on Monday, Dec. 20, from 12:01 a.m. through 2 p.m. as the Banner operating system undergoes an upgrade. This will affect the following services:
The Metro-E circuit to Jupiter campus is down again. We are working with our Metro Ethernet carrier to resolve the issue as soon as possible. All calls originating from the Jupiter campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Jupiter campus, the ten digit number might be required.
At 9:05 AM, the fiber link between FAU and Palm Beach State College went dark.
On Monday morning, December 13th starting at 6:30am, NWRDC will begin migrating all of the L2VPNs from the current FLR connector in Tallahassee to a new connector in Tampa. This migration is expected to take no longer than 30 minutes. This will affect the L2VPN connection between FAU and NWRDC.
We are experiencing a network outage that is affecting sections of the first, second, and third floors (west wing) of the Boca Raton Library.
Jupiter Campus network went down for about 15 minutes due to a Metro-E circuit outage. IRM worked with AT&T to correct this issue.
The Davie campus experienced a brief outage due to loss of metro-ethernet connectivity at 12:35 this afternoon. The connection was restored at 12:37.
The power went down to the east side of Boca Campus approximately 30 minutes ago. The network in Student Village, Henderson and Slattery Daycare went offline as a result of the power outage. Student Village has been restored. Henderson and Slattery Daycare still have no power. Physical Plant is aware of the problem and is working with FPL to restore power.
Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday our maintenance window took place on Wednesday, November 24. The following system were down for maintenance.
Users were experiencing some latency when accessing Banner or Self-Service due to a high volume of changes being processed.
