The ODS upgrade has completed. The redirection to the standby ODS database has been removed and reports are now accessing the ODS upgraded database.
This new ODS release (version 8.2) is utilizing Oracle “Streams” which will eliminate the problem with triggers locking Banner tables during the refresh process.
More information about this new ODS release is available to DART BOARD users under the ODS Metadata tab.
CSI will be performing routine switch maintenance in building 71, College of Medicine on Friday, 10/07/2011 from 6:00 AM to 7:00 am during the IRM maintenance window. This maintenance will only affect the data connections on the first floor in building 71 during the times listed above.

The Banner Production Maintenance is running longer that estimated and past the 7:00am maintenance window. This may impact response time, specifically with Financial Aid and payments. Once we have more information, another status will be posted. .
We are currently experiencing a problem with the Xpressions voicemail system. This is affecting all campuses and the problem has been escalated to our vendor.
Broward Computing Services (BCS) in conjunction with Network Security will perform the following upgrade(s) on Wednesday, August 16, 2011:
* Description: Move DHCP (IP assignments) to new registration system for Davie faculty & staff.
* System(s) Affected: FACULTY & STAFF may receive a registration Web page when a client connects to the Internet.
* Downtime: No downtime anticipated.
Network registration is now in effect for all computers on the Davie campus.
Network changes scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2011 have been completed.
Additional changes and testing will continue on Wednesday, August 17, and Friday, August 19, between 12:01 am and 7:00 am. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network and telephone systems across all FAU campus locations Please be advised that calls between campuses as well as off campus calls may require dialing a seven or ten digit number. Boca core router changes during maintenance tomorrow between 6 AM and 7 AM. There might be a brief network outages between Boca and Gumbo Limbo Center as we make route changes to the routers.
The switch upgrade for the Davie education and science building is now complete.
