Beginning today users signing into the Active Learning tool known as Top Hat, will be required to use their FAU login. The first time doing so they will be prompted to merge their FAU login with their existing Top Hat account (regardless of whether or not that account used their FAU email address). Zoom has received reports of users being unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars. They are currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.
[RESOLVED] Starfish Advisor Calendars no longer syncing with Outlook Calendar
UPDATE:
Advisors and staff should now be able to sync their Outlook calendar availability with Starfish again.
The calendar sync functionality between Outlook and Starfish is currently not working for advisors/staff. This means the Starfish software will no longer be able to see your Outlook availability when creating your Starfish schedule. In the meantime, all future unavailable times will need to be added manually in Starfish itself.
This is currently being investigated and we will send an update once have more information.
OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. April 8 from 12:00AM to 7:00AM
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 04/08/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Zoom has received reports of users being unable to utilize Live Transcription services within Zoom Meetings. Cloud Recording transcriptions are not impacted. Zoom is currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.

[RESOLVED] Page errors when attempting to access Canvas
UPDATE:
#2 Canvas should now be operational. A fix was applied and is currently being monitored. (10:25 AM est)
#1 Canvas has identified the issue and applying a fix. (9:07 AM est)
When trying to access Canvas, users may get a 504 Gateway Time-Out error.
This has been reported to Canvas and they are currently investigating the issue.

This morning we received confirmation from Teamdynamix that this issue has been resolved and services have been fully restored.

Teamdynamix is experiencing issues with their DNS provider. This may cause issues connecting to helpdesk.fau.edu and helpdesk.fau.edu/tdnext.
