OIT will be performing maintenance on FAU’s virtual apps infrastructure on Thursday, October 22 from 4AM-7AM.
Apps.fau.edu will be intermittently unavailable during this time.
OIT will be performing network maintenance tomorrow. While most production services will be unaffected, due to the nature of the maintenance Single sign-on (SSO) may have a couple of momentary disruptions between 5:45 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the morning. As SSO is used to login to FAU services, it is possible that a small number of authentication attempts will fail momentarily. If this occurs, access should succeed upon trying again.
Mediasite will be under maintenance and upgrade Saturday, October 10 1AM-5AM. Extended downtime is not expected, however, the site may be unavailable for brief periods during this time. Zoom has resolved the issue causing a very small subset of participants joining a meeting to be split into multiple meetings with the same meeting ID.
Zoom has received reports of issues where participants joining a meeting are being split into multiple meetings with the same meeting ID. They are currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.
**UPDATE**
The issues with Pay-for-Print have been resolved and the system has been restored to full service. All related systems and applications should be functioning as usual.

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with Pay-for-Print. OIT is working with the vendors to resolve the issues as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Canvas users may experience 502 page errors and degraded performance while viewing documents within Canvas (i.e. using the document preview function). Canvas has found a fix and is working to resolve the issue.
Sonic Foundry is currently investigating an issue with search. Search related functions (management portal, catalogs, channels and showcase) may be inaccessible during this time
