The FAU Self-Service and Banner systems will be unavailable on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as Banner undergoes an Oracle database upgrade. This will affect the following services:
* Banner Forms (INB) access * FAU Self-Service (including registration, transcripts, grades and payments)
Network connectivity has been lost to NWRDC. Their phones also appears to be down. Network is looking into the issue.
10:40 AM – Terrie, from NWRDC, called they had power outage…at least an hour to come back up.

We will be performing preventative maintenance on Blackboard between 3am and 5am Tuesday February 21st, 2011. We do not expect Blackboard to be unavailable during this process.
The SafeAssign plagiarism detection tool within Blackboard will be unavailable on Friday, February 18 from 2:00-4:00am due to system maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
One of the Blackboard servers failed this afternoon between 3:45pm and 4:30pm Wednesday February 16th, 2011. We have removed the server and Blackboard is now operational.
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health check on Thursday, 02/17/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Blackboard was unavailable from 9pm to 10:30pm Tuesday February 15, 2011. We have made configuration adjustments to prevent this problem in the future.
Starting at 11PM on Monday 1/31/2011, FLR – FAU’s internet provider – will undergo maintenance which may result in a potential interruption of service from Miami to Orlando.
