Description of change: OIT will be enabling mailbox auditing for all office 365 mailboxes.

Office 365 DKIM Maintenance – COMPLETED
We will be performing maintenance on how Office 365 signs email for users with “@fau.edu” addresses. This will be a transparent change, no end user interaction is required.
Maintenance is completed. If you have any issues with sending email through Office 365 please open a ticket with the Help Desk with all relevant details.
Flashgordon DKIM Signing Maintenance – COMPLETED
We will be configuring DKIM signing on flashgordon shortly. During the configuration the mail delivery service may be restarted multiple times. If you have issues sending mail through flashgordon please wait 10-15 minutes and then try again.
Maintenance is complete, if you experience any issues sending email through flashgordon please open a ticket with the help desk.
[RESOLVED] – Malwarebytes Update causing network connectivity issues
UPDATE:
Today at 1:55PM, Malwarebytes released v.12 update that has fixed the network connectivity problem. OIT has tested the update and can confirm that it resolves the issues.
We highly recommend rebooting your computer at your earliest convenience after the update is installed.

Earlier today Malwarebytes released a signature update that is causing computers to lose network connectivity. This is a widespread issue and are affecting anyone who has Malwarebytes installed.
The temporary workaround is to disable Malicious Web Protection under Settings. This will restore network connectivity. Once Malwarebytes releases a new update the Malicious Web Protection feature should be turned on again.
We will be monitoring the status of this issue and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Description of change: Single Sign On will be updated to prompt users to provide important information when login in to specific sites and services.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM

Affected services: Single Sign On – All services such as Banner Self Service, Workday, Canvas, Office 365, and others which use Single Sign On
Affected systems: shibboleth1p, shibboleth2p, shibboleth3p
Expected End-user impact: Users may have difficulty logging into Canvas, Workday, Self Service and other services while upgrades are being performed.

Email System Change
Description of change: OIT will be adding a feature to the email system to reduce the prevalence of fake emails sent from FAU addresses.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, regular email users should see no problems. Legitimate email senders who have not pre-arranged with OIT to either verify or relay their email will probably experience erratic delivery of their emails. The emails will either end up in recipients’ spam/junk folders or simply not delivered due to non-compliance.
