Description of maintenance: OIT is continuing the move of servers from older bigip load balancer hardware to the new ones. This move will be for the backend servers that support the myfau.fau.edu site.
User impact: The main myfau.fau.edu access should be unaffected but users may experience interruptions with components within myfau.fau.edu during the transition.

External DDoS Attack Affecting Connectivity to Non-FAU Sites and Services
An external denial of service attack is affecting connectivity to many large sites and services external to FAU. These services include Workday, Paypal, Twitter, Ellucian, Spotify, Reddit, Soundcloud, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and many other services. At this time, connectivity to the sites mentioned and many others on the internet may not be possible until the issues are resolved. This attack is not directed at FAU, but it is affecting access to many services on the internet for users inside and outside of FAU.
