The network maintenance scheduled for this morning has been completed.

OIT will be performing network maintenance on the Jupiter campus from 12:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday January 22nd from 12:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. During this time network services on the Jupiter campus will experience periods of network disruption affecting access to services on the Jupiter campus as well as connectivity to and from the internet on the Jupiter campus.

The network maintenance scheduled for this morning is complete and all services are expected to be working. While most services were restored early this morning, OIT staff worked throughout the morning to restore the remainder of services including internet access for many buildings on campus. We apologize for any inconvenience encountered during the recovery of services. The network maintenance scheduled for today is continuing. We are working to resolve some issues in certain buildings and hope to have these issues resolved shortly.

The network maintenance scheduled for tomorrow will now take place between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m. In addition to the new start time, there will be network disruptions that will affect connectivity on the Boca Raton campus during the maintenance window.

OIT will be performing network maintenance on the Boca Raton campus from 12:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. on Monday December 20th. During this time, there will be a series of short network disruptions affecting connectivity on the Boca Raton campus including access to servers and the internet.​

OIT will be performing upgrades and enhancements to the FAU network between 5:00 am and 7:00 am on December the 22nd.  During the maintenance window, Internet traffic will be automatically rerouted.

The network maintenance scheduled for tomorrow morning has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.

OIT will be performing network maintenance on the Boca Raton campus from 12:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 7th. During this time, there will be a series of short network disruptions affecting connectivity on the Boca Raton campus including access to servers and the internet.​ This is rescheduled maintenance that was previously scheduled for Sunday December 5th.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Wednesday, 11/24/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Description of change: OIT will be performing network maintenance ​that may cause a momentary disruption to single sign-on on Wednesday, November 24th from 12:01 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.
Downtime window start: 11/24/2021 12:01 AM
Downtime window end: 11/24/2021 1:00 AM
Affected services: OIT services hosted at Azure and Google Cloud Platform will experience downtime lasting a couple of minutes
Expected End-user impact: ​Any service at Azure or Google Cloud Platform will experience a short disruption to service. The most visible is single sign-on hosted in Azure, however Boca should handle any requests and disruption should be transparent to the end user. The OIT cloud services mostly host DR-style systems currently.
