Description of change: OIT will be updating the front and back end components for the EMS platform.

Affected systems: FAU app and web server
Expected End-user impact: During this time, EMS (both web and desktop client) and Master Calendar will be unavailable. End-users will need to upgrade to new EMS client on desktop. Instructions were provided via email.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, Appworx and Harvest will be unavailable. This will impact Appworx jobs that run during this time.

Description of change: OIT will install patches and upgrades to Oracle Identity Manager to enhance certain features.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected. Changes are occurring to back end services and will not require any downtime.

Expected End-user impact: College of Business Admin Users will be prompted for two factor when they login to Office 365.

Comcast is currently experiencing nationwide outages of internet and TV services. Users of Comcast Xfinity services may be unable to reach some or all FAU services until the issue is resolved.
Early this morning we experienced issues with single sign on. This affected several of our services such as Banner and FAU Self-Service.
The issue has been resolved and all services should be accessible at this time. If you continue having issues please contact the OIT Help Desk 561.297.3999.

Due to the nature of the maintenance, users may experience intermittent network disruptions lasting approximately 5 – 10 minutes during this window. The Internet connection will be rerouted to the backup connection to minimize any downtime.
