Networking oncall personnel are on campus now working to resolve this issue.

The copper cable feeding the phone service to the Henderson and the Karen Slattery Center has been cut. Jade Communications is onsite with the Contractor accessing the situation.

An telephone outgage has occurred in the T-6 area affecting the Police Department. Siemens has been called and an FAU Technician has been dispatched.

The power and network have been restored to the East side of the Boca Raton Campus.

There is a power outage on the east side of Boca Campus. Network equipment in the following buildings is offline.

Henderson School, Slattery Child Care, Student Village Apartments, Baldwin House

Physical Plant has been notified and is working on the power issue. Network will be restored when power comes back on.

Blackboard is currently having intermittent problems.  We expect the problem to be resolved by 9:30am.

The planned maintenance was cancelled this past weekend – Will reschedule maintenance, the date is pending. The DARS Degree Audit system is available.

CSI will be performing routine switch maintenance in building 71, College of Medicine on Friday, 10/07/2011 from 6:00 AM to 7:00 am during the IRM maintenance window. This maintenance will only affect the data connections on the first floor in building 71 during the times listed above.

We have noticed some issues with the grade book which may prevent it from displaying as quickly as normal. A quick temporary fix for the problem is to sort the grade book descending or ascending while it is loading. This action causes it to immediately display. If sorting fails to resolve the problem please enter a call ticket.

This fix has been tested on small and large classes ranging in size from 10 students to 1,500.
