IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07/14/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Self Service will be down for 10 minutes at 6:00 am to apply some patches.

When: 3:00 AM – 3:30 AM Affected Services: SharePoint Project Server Affected Systems: Spwfe1 Spwfe2 Spapp1 Description of Maintenance: We will be applying service pack 1 for Project Server 2010

When: 3:00 am – 6:00 am Affected Services: Talisma 8.5 Application and Database Affected Systems: TALAPP01 and TALDB01 servers Description of Maintenance: The Talisma 8.5 SP2 will be upgraded to service pack 4. All users will be logged off by 3:00 am to start the upgrade. Both the application and database servers will be unavailable during the maintenance window

Network: Temporary Fix Completed. The communications cable to the Info Booth Bldg 41 has been repaired. We are working on a permanent solution to this cable problem.

Description of Maintenance:  The Blackboard 9.1 production servers will be updated for a vulnerability to cross-site scripting in a portion of the Discussion Board.  No reboots are necessary.

Description of Maintenance: The Barnes and Nobile links on the Registration Add/drop page and the My Schedule page will be temporarily unavailable due to an upgrade being done my Barnes and Noble. The links will be available by 7:00am on Thursday.

On Thursday June 16th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Davie Campus. Other Southern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All calls originating from the Davie campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Davie campus, the ten digit number might be required. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone. The Metro Ethernet data circuit that connects the Jupiter campus and Boca Raton campus is congested due to incorrect ATT settings. We are working with ATT to correct this issue.
