OIT will be applying patches and restarting the Account Self Services application to improve functionality and performance.
Maintenance is scheduled for tonight (Thursday, Aug 31) between 10:00pm – 11:00pm. During this time we do not anticipate any end-user impact.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, users might not be able to claim accounts or reset their passwords.

The Starfish Advising System is currently unavailable. We are working with the vendor to restore services as quickly as possible.
OIT will provide updates as they are made available.
The single sign-on authentication system will be partially unavailable from 3:00 am to 4:00 am Thursday August 18th, 2017. While the maintenance is in progress users may intermittently experience difficulty logging into services such as Canvas, Self Service, Office 365, Owlapps, and Workday.
The Univesity form server (Frevvo) will be offline from 5 am to 6 am Wednesday August 16, 2017 for maintenance. Please report any issues during or after this time to https://helpdesk.fau.edu/.
Main fau mailservers are being incrementally upgraded to fix a bug. Impact should be minimal as most mail clients will retry and get a working mailserver. The mail hostnames that may be affected are as follows: smtp.fau.edu, smtpxy.fau.edu, bertx.fau.edu, berty.fau.edu, boc22esa02.fau.edu, nwesa02.fau.edu
