Emergency Authentication System Maintenance, Tuesday, July 19 from 11:00PM to 1:00AM

The single sign-on system will be partially unavailable from 11:00 pm Tuesday July 19th, 2016 to 1:00 am Wednesday July 20th, 2016. While the maintenance is in progress users may intermittently experience difficulty logging into services such as Blackboard, Self Service, Office 365, Owlapps, and Workday.

Description of maintenance: ​OIT will enable 2Factor authentication for users who are 2Factor enabled and wish to access Banner Self Service.
User impact: Users with 2Factor enabled will be forced to 2Factor when logging into Banner Self Service.​

Description of maintenance: OIT will increase the size for the transfer share on andisec
User impact: All SMB and SFTP shares on andisec will be unavailable during the maintenance window. Jobs that are connected to andisec will need to be restarted once andisec is available again.

[RESOLVED] – Issues with Office365 applications (Email, Skype for Business, SharePoint)

We are currently experiencing some connectivity issues with Office365 applications, such as email, Skype for Business, and SharePoint. We are investigating the issue and have contacted Microsoft for assistance in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Network Maintenance – Wednesday June 22nd from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m.

OIT will be performing potentially intrusive network maintenance tomorrow morning from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m.  During this time, there may be a brief interruption of network connectivity on the Boca Raton campus lasting approximately 30 seconds.

[COMPLETED] TouchNet Payment Processing – Maintenance on Wed. June 22 from 3:00AM – 7:00AM

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance; from 3:00(am) to 7:00(am) –EST, on Wednesday 6/22/16.

This will affect student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace stores, uPay sites, and TouchNet ready partner applications.

Network Maintenance – Sunday 6/19 from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.

OIT will be performing maintenance on the core Boca network tomorrow, Sunday June 19th from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. During this time, sporadic connectivity loss will occur on the Boca campus during the maintenance window. Interruptions are expected to be brief and last only a couple of minutes.

Affected services: Malwarebytes EndPoint Security

Description of maintenance: OIT will upgrade the Malwarebytes server from version 1.5 to version 1.7.
User impact: Clients will be unable to talk to the server for approximately a half hour while the upgrade is running

The Blackboard FAUNet ID login method is currently experiencing Authentication Errors.
As an alternative, please attempt to login using the Blackboard method by selecting “Blackboard” from the Login With Drop-down and enter your usual FAU username and password.
