The ePrint server is scheduled for an upgrade to version 4.2.1 this Thursday morning between 3:00am – 7:00am. EPrint will be unavailable during this time.
Jupiter Campus Phone System Upgrade and testing Tuesday July 10th
Telecommunications will be upgrading and testing the phone system on the Jupiter campus on Tuesday July 10th from 5am till 7am. During this time period there will be intermittent outages to telephones on the Jupiter campus. In case of emergency please use a cellular or non FAU phone to dial 911. Emergency Maintenance – reboots on all Middleware systems
Due to an unexpected issue brought on by the leap second change on July 1st we must request an emergency restart of all Linux systems running Java to fix broken Java processes on Middleware systems

Description: Central Authentication service will be updated to correct two errors detected by clients. The first problem affects users who previously visited MyFAU and the second prevents web browsers from caching style sheets.
User Impact: CAS will be offline for 10 to 15 minutes. This will prevent users from accessing Owl Apps, Network Registration, Parature, and eCollege.
Harbor Branch network switch 3 bldg 18 image change overnight.
Networking plans to change the image on switch 3 in bldg. 18 on the Harbor Branch Campus overnight. No down time is expected.
[RESOLVED] Sharepoint slow performance
The sharepoint issues have been resolved, and traced back to a failed server. We will continue to monitor the machine for issues.
12:04 pm: Sharepoint.fau.edu is now online but running very slowly. We are continuing to investigate the problem and will update this post hourly.
11:52 am: Sharepoint.fau.edu is currently returning a 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR when accessed by clients. We are currently investigating.
[Resolved] Outlook WebAccess Errors
Users may receive a “403 Forbidden: Access is denied” error when opening mail.fau.edu. We are working to correct the problem but users may work around the error by using the following url: https://mail.fau.edu.
Metro Ethernet vlan move on 5-23-2012
On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, between 5:30 am and 6:30 am, Networking will modify the vlans used by the Metro Ethernet connection. This upgrade will cause an interruption to the network connection to the remote FAU campus locations. Please be advised that calls to or from the remote campus locations may require dialing a seven or ten digit number during the times listed above.
