The schedule Banner maintenance is taking longer than expected. This impacts Self-Service, INB, Workflow, Appworx, and jobsub. We expect to have services restored at 9:00am.

FAU experienced a network outage caused by a software issue between 6:10p.m. and 6:35p.m. today. This outage affected connectivity within the FAU campus as well as connectivity to the internet. This outage would have caused issues for students trying to watch streaming media or take online exams such as those given through Blackboard during this time.
RESOLVED: Echo360 will be intermittently unavailable from 3:30PM-3:45PM . The Echo360 environment needs to be restarted to re-sync media store locations. Users will be unable to perform EMI transfers, or access and start viewing Echo360 captures during this window.
The network maintenance scheduled for this morning has been completed.
In order to further limit the impact of this critical maintenance, we are rescheduling the maintenance described below to occur between 5:00a.m. and 5:45 a.m. on Sunday April 20th.
Communication Infrastructure will be performing critical maintenance on core networking equipment on Sunday April 20th from 5:00a.m. until 5:45 a.m. During this time, we anticipate a loss of network connectivity between FAU campuses and the Internet as well as connectivity within FAU lasting approximately 10-15 minutes. Network services are expected to be operating normally prior to the end of the maintenance window.
There is currently a delay on some emails. It should be resolved shortly.
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 04/10/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

User Impact: DHCP on Jupiter and Davie will be unavailable for approximately 10 minutes during the window and the other services are expected to stay available for the window.
Reason: Linux updates/patches to 6.5

The FAU VPN services will be undergoing emergency maintenance at 2:00 p.m. today. Sometime after 2:00 p.m., users connected to the VPN may experience some momentary delays or pauses during their VPN session while maintenance is underway.
Echo360 will be intermittently unavailable from 4:50PM-5:10 PM . The Echo360 service needs to be restarted to free a blocked thread that is preventing content from being ingested. Users will be unable to perform EMI transfers, or access and start viewing Echo360 captures during this window.
