RESOLVED – Ellucian Banner (Self-service/Admin) Production Service Unavailable

Update 8/14/23 9:33AM:

The Ellucian team resolved the issue with all Banner services. Users should now be able to log back into services and process any requests that were previously failing. The OIT team is also working on restarting all jobs and processes that may have failed due to this issue. All services are now reported to be restored.

Our Ellucian Banner system is currently experiencing issues, all applications related to Banner are impacted: Banner Admin, Banner Self-Service, Workflow, etc.

Users may see error messages stating that records cannot be inserted. We have raised a priority 1 case with our Ellucian Managed Services Provider and they are working at identifying the problem and will restore the service as quickly as possible.

[RESOLVED] Student Loan Deferment Status & Enrollment Verification Link – Self Service Issue

UPDATE 7/28/2023 6:30PM:

The issue with the Clearinghouse link in Self-Service is now working as intended. All services are restored.

ORGINAL MESSAGE:

We are currently having an issue with out direct link with the Clearinghouse for student loan deferment and enrollment verification. Users will receive “Error Connecting to the National Student Clearinghouse Site” when the button is clicked in Self Service. We are working on restoring this service at this moment.

[RESOLVED] Qualtrics Survey Service Outage

The Qualtrics service has been fully restored.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. July 13 from 12:01am to 7:00am

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07/13/2023 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:


Banner program change
Description of change: OIT will update Banner function program to accommodate new financial aid counselor.
Downtime window start: 07/13/2023 12:00 AM
Downtime window end: 07/13/2023 1:00 AM

[RESOLVED] Issues logging into uAchieve and Office Apps

We have identified and resolved these issues. Login to uAchieve and Office Apps has been resolved.

After our single sign on upgrade we have identified that users are receiving Access Denied when trying to access uachieve. We also have identified that logging into Office apps on Windows for the first time is giving a white screen. We recommend logging into Office apps via the web until we update this status.

The issue with logging into the library information systems has been resolved.

We are currently debugging and will update this post as we have a status.

[RESOLVED] TouchNet Systems Maintenance, Friday, July 14th from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM

TouchNet maintenance has been completed.

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Friday, July 14th. This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services. We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you. You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion. Expected End-user impact: During this time all student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services will be unavailable during this maintenance cycle.
