Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 00/03/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of maintenance: Apply Blackboard patches to alleviate performance issues as well as clear up errors.
User impact: Blackboard will not be available during the proposed downtime.

Affected Services: Shibboleth Federated Logon for InCommon
Affected Systems: lintalon0.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: We are installing MetaData (xml files) into Shibboleth.
User Impact: Shibboleth’s tomcat6 application server will be restarted multiple times and FAUNet ID access to Research.gov, EduCause.edu will be intermittently available during this time.
When: 5:00AM to 7:00AM
Affected services: Voicemail (Xpressions)
Affected systems: Xpressions
Description of maintenance: The upgrade is pertrhiformed to correct an issue with profiles not accepting messages
User impact: Users will not be able to leave or retrieve messages during the maintenance window

Description of maintenance: Apply Blackboard Patchset2 as well as supplementary patches.
User impact: Blackboard will not be available during the proposed downtime.
The connectivity issues have been resolved. We will continue to monitor the situation in case other issues arise.
We are currently experiencing an issue with the network causing loss of connectivity to the Internet. We are working as fast as possible to resolve the issue.
