Password Synchronization Offline

Password synchronization between MyFAU, Central Authentication Service and Active Directory will be offline between 3am and 7am December 3rd.while we upgrade a part of the system.

[RESOLVED] Problems with password synchronization and account creation

8:55 AM – Account and password synchronization are now working. MyFAU was offline from 8:30 am to 8:40 am.
8:35 AM – We are restarting part of MyFAU to correct a problem. MyFAU will be intermittently available for 5 – 10 minutes.

8:20 AM – We are currently experiencing issues synchronizing user accounts from MyFAU. We are investigating and will update this notice regularly.

This currently affects new account creation and password synchronization.

[resolved] Guest Wireless, Password synchronization and user account provisioning offline

** Update – All services have returned. We are continuing to investigate the cause of the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

Guest wireless, Password synchronization, PrivateEye, and account creation is currently offline. For example, this will prevent newly set passwords and newly created users from accessing Windows Computers, MyFAU, and Blackboard.

We are working to resolve the issue and will update this post regularly.

Intermittent Network Connectivity issues for Comcast users

There have been reports that Comcast users may have difficulty accessing FAU services such as MyFAU, Blackboard, and the FAU web page. We are investigating the problem and will update this notice soon.

MyFAU password synchronization delays

Users who recently  changed their NetID password may discover that it does not work when logging into Blackboard, Windows computers and other NetID enabled services.

The problem has been resolved and all passwords will synchronize over the next few hours.

This affects users who changed their password using MyFAU on August 22nd between 4pm and 10pm.

[Complete] Network Registration and DNS Maintenance

We will be performing essential systems maintenance on DNS, DHCP and LDAP  servers Wednesday July 10th between 5 am and 6 am. No user impact is expected as these are redundant services.
