The latest Oracle patches will be applied to the Banner Production environment during Thursday’s (5/24) scheduled Production maintenance window.
As a result, Banner Production (FAUP INB/SSB/batch) and the ODS will not be available from 4:00am-6:00am.
A message will be posted on the MyFAU Self-Service Channel.
Banner DEVL/TEST/YEND will be unavailable tonight during the scheduled Maintenance Window (6:00pm-10:00pm). During this time, the latest oracle patches will be applied.
At 2:21 PM today, (Monday, May 21, 2012) the FAU network experienced a 60 second drop in the Metro Ethernet connectivity to the Harbor Branch and Port St. Lucie campus locations. Full connectivity has been restored and we are working with the carrier to determine the reason for the drop in service.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/17/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Description of maintenance: The goal of the change is to install the Bboogle building block on Blackboard production. This new tool will allow Faculty and Staff to link content stored in Google Applications with Blackboard and automatically creates Google Groups for courses.

Description of maintenance: An IDM agent is being installed on the Davie domain controller and must be rebooted afterwards.

There is currently a problem with archiving and exporting courses as well as uploading files in Blackboard that is causing instructors to receive an error message. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience.
