Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 10/18/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of Maintenance: We will be adding a new GPO to enable IPsec communication between 22_CM desktops and the secure ANDI server

Description of maintenance: The goal of this change is to retire and replace the old data switch in the Student Union Building # 31-B Live Oak Pavilion. To accomplish this, the old device must be removed from service and the communications room will be rewired. This change will result in a network outage for the building mentioned above.
User impact: The data network in the Student Union Building 31-B Live Oak Pavilion will be affected by the switch upgrade.

Description of Maintenance: Bamboo Solutions Alert Plus and Alerts Administrator will be installed on the SharePoint farm.

Affected Systems: NetApp Filers: bocana01.fau.edu, bocana02.fau.edu, HP chassis (passive), 7210 (passive), Cisco UCS management console, Dell CMC consoles
Description of Maintenance: We will be relocating rack RU13 to the old side of the datacenter. This will involve moving all ports in the switch to other racks.
User impact: The end user impact for the NetApp Filers will be anyone connecting through the front facing network (131.91.0.0).
