Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/20/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Affected services: Client desktop
Affected systems: System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Description of maintenance: OIT will be including additional updates to clients managed by OIT’s System Center Configuration Manager.
User impact: Users will notice more Windows updates being applied during the next maintenance window if their machine is managed by OIT’s SCCM.

Affected Services: IDM Test/Development, Report Caster test, Middleware test database MSOT, Legacy Travel database FINT.
Affected Systems: boc22ora02, boc22ora04.
Description of maintenance: Oracle database patch set updates and host patch installations
User Impact: Affected services will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

Affected services: www.fau.edu
Affected systems: webnet4, webnet5, webnet6, webnet7
Description of maintenance: OIT is preparing the www.fau.edu systems to allow for single signon authentication for some new webpages.
User impact: No downtime expected during maintenance.

Affected services: Judaica Sounch Archives
Affected systems: faujsa.fau.edu
Description of maintenance: The Judaica Sound Archives server is being converted to a virtual entity. Its operating system will also change to linux from solaris.
User impact: No downtime expected during maintenance.

Affected Services: Appworx web interface.
Affected Systems: enzo
User Impact: Affected services will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
Reason: Apache web server hosting Appworx web interface will be upgraded. The agent will remain up throughout the upgrade.

Affected Services: Undergraduate Admission
Affected Systems: ugapp
Description of Maintenance: OIT will upgrade the Undergraduate Admissions application to provide additional questions, integration and performance.
User Impact: Potential applicants will not be able to submit undergraduate admissions applications to the university due the maintenance.
