Network Maintenance – Tuesday 12/22/2015 from 5:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m.

OIT will be performing maintenance on the core network on the Boca campus from 5:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. During this time, most services on the Boca campus will experience a service interruption lasting approximately 15 minutes. Connectivity to and from the internet for most users will not be affected during the maintenance.

[RESOLVED] TeamDynamix help desk system slowness

The vendor has reported that this issue is resolved:

 

Beginning at approximately 10:08 AM EST today, our software began experiencing performance degradation. Service was restored to normal at 11:20 AM EST. We disabled some automated email alerts for a time, and those alerts were re-enabled at 11:55 AM EST.

 

All of our services are fully restored to normal. We have discovered the root cause and are taking active steps to ensure this problem does not recur in the future.

 

We thank you again for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

We are still investigating this problem, but we have narrowed it down to our automated email alerts service. We have disabled automated alerts (such as “Ticket Closed” alerts) until we are confident we have isolated and corrected the issue, at which point you will receive another email notification indicating we have resolved the problem.

Workday Production – Weekly Service Update and Maintenance downtime this Sat 12-5 from 2am – 6am

FAU Workday production system will be down this coming Saturday, December 5th from 2am est to 6am  est in order to do the Weekly Service Update and Maintenance.  During this time, you will not be available to log into the FAU Workday site or Workday Mobile app.

Also:

The other non Production FAU Workday tenants will be down for their normal Friday Weekly service updates and Maintenance – Down from at 9pm est on Friday, Decembe4th through 9am est on Saturday, December 5th includes these tenants – Sandbox and Sandbox Preview.

SafeAssign Planned Maintenance – December 4, 2015 from 12:00am to 6:00am EST

The Blackboard plagiarism service, SafeAssign will undergo a planned maintenance on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 12:00am US EST until 6:00am US EST.  There may be periods of brief interruption or latency to some of the SafeAssign functionality.  Papers will proceed as usual, but with the possibility of a slight delay for intermittent periods until the SafeAssign maintenance is completed.
