OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Aug 2 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 08/02/2018 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Banner Maintenance
Description of change: This Ellucian Upgrade/Patch  ( Financial aid 8.32.1 and 8.32.1.1) is needed to for loan processing updates and to resolve issues related to the Federal Grant (Pell) awards
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 5:00 AM
Affected services: Not Applicable
Affected systems: Banner Financial Aid
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end user impact is anticipated

Description of change: OIT will be updating the configuration version of several virtual servers.

Affected systems: aim, bba servers, boc22appsjenkins, dhcpboc0, dnsboc0, idm1, ldapboc servers, lintalon2, metadata, mp2, shibboleth1p, talonx1, vcdb, vcrecorder, wildfly servers
Expected End-user impact: During this time, listed services will be unavailable or in a degraded state

Banner Self-Service Maintenance
Description of change: Migrating 4 of the 7 Banner Self-Service servers from VMware to Hyper-V.​

Affected services: Banner Self-Service, Banner Workflow
Affected systems: sctcache3, ​sctcache4, sctcache5, sctcache6
Expected End-user impact: During this time, Banner Workflow may be unavailable at times.  The servers not being migrated will keep Banner Self-Service available.

Kofax Server Fixpack
Description of change: Performing changes/applying patches  for improving reliability/stability with Kofax Capture Scan stations

Affected services: Student Record Doc management Processing on the front end (VIP Backend is unaffected)
Affected systems: Kofax server
Expected End-user impact: During this time, the Kofax patch will be installed on 10 workstations​.
