OIT will be performing network maintenance in the early morning hours of February 27th from 5:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m. Network connectivity on the Boca Raton campus and to services on the Boca Raton campus may experience brief interruptions during the maintenance window.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Feb 28 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/28/2019 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

SSO Upgrade
Description of change: OIT will be upgrading the prompting system in the Single Sign On System so users of slower services do not see the continue button if they do not have any tasks to complete.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 5:00 AM
Affected services: All Systems that user SSO including Canvas, Workday, and others.
Affected systems: Shibboleth servers
Expected End-user impact: During this time, single sign on may stop working for 10 – 15 minutes while we redeploy the prompting service.

Decommission Mail Servers
Description of change: OIT will be decommissioning 2 legacy mail servers.
Downtime window start: 3:00 AM
Downtime window end: 6:00 AM
Affected services: Exchange Email
Affected systems: Exchange servers
Expected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected. These exchange servers are only for disaster recovery purposes.
