Upgrade Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) and Management Server (CMM) – 11/22/19

On Friday November 22nd at 4pm OIT and the vendor will be performing a software upgrade on the Cisco Meeting Server.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Nov 21 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 11/21/2019 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. [Resolved] TouchNet Systems Maintenance, Wed. November 20th from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance -Starting from 3:00am to 7:00am (EST) Wednesday, 11/20/2019
This affects student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services.
We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00 am (EST) that morning. When the system is back up and ready to go, we will notify you.
You may wish to place warnings on your website, or take your store offline. If this scheduled downtime creates a conflict for your operations, please feel free to contact us at FIS@fau.edu for further discussion.
Expected End-user impact: During this time all student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services will be unavailable during this maintenance cycle.

Canvas was temporarily unavailable from 8:15pm until 8:30pm

At approximately 8:15 pm 11/6/19, we received reports that Canvas was unavailable. The Instructure status at https://status.instructure.com/ shows the issue was identified and they are working on a fix. At approximately 8:30pm 11/6/19, Canvas was properly loading and access was restored.

We will monitor the status and post any updates.
