OIT Systems Maintenance, Thur. Feb 10 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/10/2022 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Server Upgrades
Description of change: OIT is upgrading network infrastructure servers (DHCP) to comply with security requirements.
Downtime window start 2/10/2022 3:00 AM
Downtime window end 2/10/2022 7:00 AM
Affected services: Connectivity to the internet for desktops without static IP addresses
Expected End-user impact: Minimal user impact is expected as attempts will be made to copy lease information over to the new servers

Student Information System (Banner) Maintenance
Description of change: ​​OIT is upgrading the student information system (Banner)
Downtime window start 2/10/2022 2:00 AM
Downtime window end 2/10/2022 7:00 AM
Affected services: ​​BANNER 8X/XE
Expected End-user impact: ​The student information system, Banner, will be unavailable during the installation of the new release code.

Undergraduate Application Maintenance – 02/11/22, Friday, 7:00AM – 8:00AM

The Undergraduate Application (UG APP) will be unavailable to Faculty, Staff and Students starting Friday, February 11th at 7:00AM until 8:00AM. During this maintenance period users will not be able to load the UG APP. Students with applications in progress will be able to re-login once the maintenance is completed, and will not lose any of their application information.
