Description of change: OIT will be performing maintenance on Banner from 1:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. on February 8th. Banner will not be available during this time to allow the Ellucian support team to install the updates.

Acrobat Pro 2020 Sign-In Issues

OIT has received reports about sign-in/licensing issues with Acrobat Pro 2020. We have confirmed this is an issue on Adobe’s end and they are investigating the issue. We will update once they have resolved the issue.

[RESOLVED] Microsoft Teams Service Degradation

Microsoft is currently experiencing degraded performance issues with Microsoft Teams. This will impact sending and receiving Teams messages as well as logging in to Teams.

VPN Client Maintenance
Description of change: OIT will be making a configuration change to advanced VPN clients to prevent an authentication issue with newer client builds. We will also be pushing out client upgrades.

End-user impact: Users of the advanced VPN client will perform SSO authentication using their default browser instead of the FortiClient built-in browser.
Windows advanced client users will also be prompted to reboot their computer for a client upgrade. Mac users will be prompted for an upgrade but not required to reboot.


SMS Compliance
Description of change: We are incorporating language in the Native App, Banner, GradCas, and Owldone to obtain consent from students regarding SMS messages. This is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Description of change: Research Computing will be performing maintenance of the Servers used for the Dental department and the EKG machines. During this time the services will be offline and the devices ( x-ray and EKG machines) will not be able to connect to their services.

Description of change: This is an update the Citrix license file to reflect the most recent version. This is in preparation for the installation of the latest cumulative update for Citrix Apps and Desktops as required. The license file must be updated in order to install the CU.
