[6:50 AM] This issue has been resolved.
Canvas and Respondus LockDown Browser have reported issues due to problems with Amazon Web Services (AWS). FAU students and teachers may experience problems accessing parts of Canvas or LockDown Browser exams. There is no reported time frame yet for a fix for this issue. Updates will follow as we get them.
Canvas users may experience 502 page errors and degraded performance while viewing documents within Canvas (i.e. using the document preview function). Canvas has found a fix and is working to resolve the issue.
The Cisco Webex tool in Canvas is now back up and operational. Students and Faculty should be able to access their scheduled Webex sessions through Canvas again.
*****************************
Students and teachers trying to access the Cisco Webex tool in their Canvas courses are currently receiving a “502 Bad Gateway” error. For the time being, teachers that are holding Webex meetings at this time should find the direct meeting links for their sessions and send them to students who have trouble joining.
Turnitin services are currently undergoing scheduled maintenance until 5 PM today. Users may experience issues when trying to use the Canvas integration to create, grade, or submit assignments. For more info, please visit: https://turnitin.statuspage.io/
[Update] All exams that use Respondus Monitor are now available and working.
[earlier message]Exams that are using Respondus Lockdown Browser with the Monitor option is currently unavailable. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
