Cisco switch upgrades during maintenance window tomorrow, Friday 03/24 between 6 and 7 am

These are switches that will affect portions of Davie LA and Ft Lauderdale HEC, and will have brief network outage during the maintenance window.

At 5:00PM the systems group will begin replicating ANDI data to a clustered environment. This is the first step in a larger plan to provide more robust shared folder services. There should be no impact to services.

On Wednesday March 23rd from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance that will interrupt telephone service on the Jupiter Campus. Other Northern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All off campus calls originating from the Northern campuses may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls. If you are trying to reach the Northern campuses, the ten digit number might be required. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

The Luminis Content Management System (LCMS) (http://fauss.fau.edu/) is currently unreachable. Users that still have sites in LCMS are not able to update their pages.

This does not effect any of the users in the OmniUpdate CMS.

We are looking into the issue. No ETA as of yet.

A small number of Blackboard clients may have experienced reduced performance and errors between 12pm and 12:30pm. All systems have currently returned to service and we will continue to investigate the cause of these errors.

On Friday March 11th, 2011 from 2:00am to 4:00am the SafeAssign tool in Blackboard will be unavailable due to system maintenance.

Blackboard is back up.  Down time was 10:30pm – 11:50pm
