Intermittent access issues to shared folders (andi shares)

We are experiencing some intermittent access issues to shares on fauandi1.   Various services that depend on these shares may also be affected.  We are
working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Unable to load images in VIP document management system

We are currently experiencing issues with the content explorer component of the VIP document management system.  As such, users are unable to load images.  Scanning and input should still be functional.  Working with vendor for a solution.

Completed: VIP Document Management System Upgrade – Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00PM to 5:30PM

VIP Document Management System Upgrade
Description of change: We are making an enhancement to the VIP Document Management System in order to provide better security for logins
Downtime window start: 5:00 PM
Downtime window end: 5:30 PM
Affected services: VIP Document Management System
Affected systems: vip.fau.edu, boc22coex01
Expected End-user impact: During the upgrade, VIP document system will be unavailable. After the upgrade, users will have to go through the shibboleth single sign on login (and most likely 2factor authentication) that is enabled on many other FAU services.

Emergency maintenance: mail server upgrades

Main fau mailservers  are being incrementally upgraded to fix a bug.   Impact should be minimal as most mail clients will retry and get a working mailserver.   The mail hostnames that may be affected are as follows:    smtp.fau.edu, smtpxy.fau.edu, bertx.fau.edu, berty.fau.edu, boc22esa02.fau.edu, nwesa02.fau.edu
