[Resolved] DHCP temporarily unavailable

At approximately 12:45pm we experienced an issue with DHCP and some users may have experienced a network outage at that time. Service was quickly restored by 1:00pm.

[RESOLVED] TeamDynamix help desk system slowness

The vendor has reported that this issue is resolved:

 

Beginning at approximately 10:08 AM EST today, our software began experiencing performance degradation. Service was restored to normal at 11:20 AM EST. We disabled some automated email alerts for a time, and those alerts were re-enabled at 11:55 AM EST.

 

All of our services are fully restored to normal. We have discovered the root cause and are taking active steps to ensure this problem does not recur in the future.

 

We thank you again for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

Beginning at approximately 10:08 AM EST today, our software began experiencing performance degradation. Service was restored to normal at 11:20 AM EST.

 

We are still investigating this problem, but we have narrowed it down to our automated email alerts service. We have disabled automated alerts (such as “Ticket Closed” alerts) until we are confident we have isolated and corrected the issue, at which point you will receive another email notification indicating we have resolved the problem.

FAU email being blocked- Undeliverable emails

Please note that email messages sent from FAU are currently being limited or blocked by other providers due to an increased number of compromised accounts. This results in some email messages coming back as “undeliverable”  or “delayed delivery.”

Unfortunately, at this time, the only thing we can do is to wait for the other providers to remove the block and/or limit. AOL is currently one of the providers blocking FAU email.

[UPDATE] FAU Experiencing Degraded Internet Performance

fiber outage ongoing. previous attempt to fix the fiber failed. no eta at this time

FAU is currently experiencing an outage of its primary connection to the internet. While all traffic has switched over to a backup connection and all services are available, users will experience decreased speeds to the internet until the issue is resolved. Our service provider is aware of the issue and working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
