IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07/27/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
MyFAU Maintenance – CAS Activation What: CAS Activation on MyFAU When: 5:00 AM – 5:30 AM Affected Services: MyFAU Description of Maintenance: The MyFAU CAS server will be activated. This will require a complete reboot of MyFAU. During that time MyFAU will be inaccessible.
Identity Manager and Password Synchronization What: Install Google Applications identity connector and begin provisioning Google Applications accounts When: 5:00 AM – 5:30 AM Affected Services: Identity Manager and Password Synchronization Affected Systems: idm0p, idm1p, idm3p, idm4p Description of Maintenance: There are three parts to this Maintenance
1) At 5:00 AM Identity Manager will have the Google Applications connector for Waveset installed which, will require each server’s IDM Connector service to be restarted delaying password synchronizations for a brief period of time.
2) At 5:00 AM we will be modifying the identity manager service to create and modify accounts in parallel and not in series and then adding the Google Application Roles to Identity Manager, this will have no impact on services.
3) Lastly after reviewing the results of step 1 and 2 we will allow identity manager to begin creating Google Application accounts on Thursday afternoon.
