[Resolved] Intermittent issues affecting connectivity to Blackboard and MyFAU
OIT staff identified an issue with some of the systems that MyFAU, Blackboard, and the FAU homepage are dependent upon and has taken corrective actions. We believe the issues experienced tonight are resolved but will continue to test and monitor the situation.
Intermittent issues affecting connectivity to Blackboard and MyFAU
OIT has been receiving reports of slowness and inability to access Blackboard, MyFAU, and the FAU website starting shortly before 5:00p.m. today. OIT staff is currently researching the issue and hopes to have all services restored to normal operation shortly.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 08/15/2013 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Description of maintenance: OIT Will be performing network and systems maintenance from 2:30 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday August 15th. During this time, access to Blackboard, MyFAU, and Banner may be intermittently available. In addition, the wireless and desktop networks on the Boca Raton may experience some minor issues for a couple of minutes. Maintenance is scheduled from 2:30am to 6:00am, although maintenance should conclude shortly after 3:00am.

telephone issue at SeaTech
We are currently experiencing a telephone issue at the FAU SeaTech campus location. Incoming calls to the SeaTech campus and outbound local calls from the campus are not working properly. We are working with the vendor to resolve this issue.
