Friday July 1st we will be doing network maintenance between 4:00am – 7:00am in Bldg 47. This work is to replace the existing network switch on the 2nd floor. Only the 2nd floor will be affected with this work.

Banner production FAUP will be unavailable Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM in order to complete the Phase I of the fiscal year end roll process.

IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/23/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. The files in the “/usr/local/blackboard/apps/birt/” directory will be replaced with a new file set as provided by Blackboard Support. We will be doing upgrades to network switches in the Unix racks in Computing Center, Room 102 during our maintenance window (5:00am-7:00am) tomorrow morning (Wednesday, June 8, 2011). The following systems will be affected.

RU08 – switch boc22cm102fsw834 – config changes, IOS upgrade, reboot

RU09 – switch boc22cm102fsw828 – IOS upgrade, reboot RU09 – switch boc22cm102fsw829 – IOS upgrade, reboot

The ANDI server is currently unresponsive and as a result access to shares are not working. Expected reboot time is about five minutes.

The exchange servers that manage frontend (OWA/Outlook) connections will be restarted one at a time to address a mail delivery problem. There should be little to no impact to end users.

We are currently experiencing issues with telephones located at the Harbor Branch and Davie West locations. We are aware of the outages and working diligently to determine the cause and make corrections.

On Tuesday May 3^rd from 4am till 7am CSI will be performing software upgrades to the phones and servers that will affect telephones at the Davie West location. During this time telephone service will not be available at the Davie West location. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-297-3500 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

On Thursday April 14th starting at 5:00pm through 8:00pm CSI will be performing system maintenance on our Xpressions (voicemail) servers. During this timeframe users located in the Culture and Society Building, New College of Engineering, and Davie West will be unable to leave or retrieve messages.
