Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/10/2016 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of maintenance: OIT will enable Duo 2-factor authentication for the ePrint URL https://eprint.fau.edu
User impact: There will be no access to ePrint during this time

When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM

Affected systems: cas1, cas2, cas3
Description of maintenance: OIT will update the single sign on system to prevent users from entering a space before or after their username. This will improve usability by stopping users from receiving an error when logging in.
User impact: None, these a clustered and the patch will be applied to one at a time.

User impact: Possible delay in receiving mail

Liebert battery replacement at Jupiter, RF 219

Description of maintenance: Emerson is replacing all 40 batteries in the Liebert unit in RF 219.
User impact: None, the unit will be on standby and should be powered by the backup generator if there is a power failure.
