[RESOLVED] Mediasite Catalogs
The issue with Mediasite catalogs has been resolved. Catalogs are loading normally.
Mediasite Catalogs slow to load
Users will find that Mediasite catalogs are slow to load and may even time out. The Mediasite Cloud admins are aware of the issue and are working towards a solution.

The issues with Mediasite has been resolved. Users are now able to connect to catalogs and videos, and the MyMediasite portal is available.
[Update] Mediasite Catalogs and Links
The mediasite cloud servers have been restored. Access to the MyMediasite portal is now available. However some catalogs and links to videos are timing out with the error: “Unable to communicate with the remote server”. Engineers are actively working on correcting the issue. OIT continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they becoming available.

Work on fully restoring service continues at the cloud provider. OIT continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they become available. You may still experience intermittent performance and accessibility issues during the recovery.
Mediasite – Intermittent Interruptions
The Mediasite US cloud servers are intermittently inaccessible. The vendor is aware of the situation and will keep FAU informed as the situation progresses. In the meantime users occasionally may not be able to access Mediasite videos or the MyMediasite portal in canvas.
[RESOLVED] – Malwarebytes Update causing network connectivity issues
UPDATE:
Today at 1:55PM, Malwarebytes released v.12 update that has fixed the network connectivity problem. OIT has tested the update and can confirm that it resolves the issues.
We highly recommend rebooting your computer at your earliest convenience after the update is installed.

Earlier today Malwarebytes released a signature update that is causing computers to lose network connectivity. This is a widespread issue and are affecting anyone who has Malwarebytes installed.
The temporary workaround is to disable Malicious Web Protection under Settings. This will restore network connectivity. Once Malwarebytes releases a new update the Malicious Web Protection feature should be turned on again.
We will be monitoring the status of this issue and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Single Sign On System Maintenance
The University Single Sign On System will briefly undergo maintenance from 12:10 am to 12:20 am Saturday January 27. During this period users may be unable to login to Workday, Banner Self Service, Google Applications, Office 365, Ezproxy, and other Single Sign On supported services.
