Intermittent connectivity issues

We are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity issues impacting VPN and remote desktop connections.

We are currently investigating the issue and will update this post as more information becomes available.

Network maintenance on February 5 after 9:00 pm

OIT will be performing upgrades and enhancements to the FAU network between 9:00 p.m. on February 5 and 1:00 a.m. on February 6.  During the maintenance window, Internet traffic will be automatically rerouted.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/04/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Expected End-user impact: During this time, there will be approximately 1-2 minutes where callers will be unable to leave a voicemail or access the voice directory.

Description of change: OIT will update Frevvo Forms Server to the newest version.

[Resolved] AT&T Outage affecting phone service

Our service provider AT&T is currently experiencing a widespread outage which is affecting phone and internet service. On campus phones, as well as AT&T cell phones may be affected. They are working to resolve and we will update as we receive additional information.
