Network Interruption 1:00a.m. 10/2/2015
The FAU network encountered a momentary network interruption around 1:00a.m. this morning. This interruption lasted a couple of minutes while traffic routed around to to redundant systems. During this brief time, access to services including Blackboard may have been impacted. We are currently working with our vendors to identify the root cause of the service disruption.

OIT is continuing it’s efforts to expand and strengthen the wireless signal at the Davie campus. Our contractor (Jade Communications) will be at different parts of the Davie Campus starting on Friday, September 25th. More specifically, you will see technicians in accordance to the following schedule:
Friday, September 25th to Tuesday, September 29 | ES Building:
- First floor – Hallways 100A and 100B.
- Second floor – Hallways 200w, 200t, 200k and 200i.
- Third floor – Hallways 301E,301D.
Wednesday, September 30 | Student Union Building:
- Second floor – 200B, 203 and Hallway 200C.
Thursday, October 1, to Friday October 9 | Liberal Arts Building
- 4th floor. Hallway 403i, 406, 403D,403F.
- 2nd – 3rd floor. Hallway 324, 329, Rooms 303D, 303F.
- 3rd – 2nd floor. Hallways 211, 232, Room 244.
