[RESOLVED] FAU’s Online Payment System (Touchnet) Unavailable

Maintenance for FAU’s Online Payment System (Touchnet) has successfully been completed and is available to accept online payments. 

***Notice***

FAU has extended the cancellation payment due date for all students.

Payments can be made in person or through the campus drop box until Friday,  January 29, 2016 at 5:00 PM on the Boca Raton Campus, Student Services Bldg. 80, Room 113.

Online payments can be made until Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 11:00 PM.

Please note…January 31, 2016 is the deadline for ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY. Be sure to make your payments by these dates to avoid cancellation.

1098-T’s are currently not able to be viewed. You will receive a notification via your FAU email address when available.

[Completed] Network Maintenance on January 6, 2016

On Wednesday, January 6, 2016, between 3:00 am and 6:00 am, OIT will perform an upgrade on the network router on the Boca Raton Campus. This upgrade may cause an interruption to the data networks on the Boca Raton campus. Network Maintenance – Tuesday 12/22/2015 from 5:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m.

OIT will be performing maintenance on the core network on the Boca campus from 5:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. During this time, most services on the Boca campus will experience a service interruption lasting approximately 15 minutes. Connectivity to and from the internet for most users will not be affected during the maintenance.

[RESOLVED] FAU Experiencing Degraded Internet Performance

FAU’s primary connection to the internet was restored at 7:00 this morning. The degraded internet performance issues have now been resolved and all services are expected to be running at normal speeds.

[UPDATE] FAU Experiencing Degraded Internet Performance

Our service provider has informed us that restoration of services will begin around midnight tonight lasting until morning. We do not have a specific ETA for resolution.  Until the expected restoration of our primary internet link in the early morning hours, we will continue to have degraded performance to all services from off-campus and from FAU to the internet.

We continue to use our backup Internet connection as our providers continue to make repairs to fiber damaged between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Our latest information suggests services will not be fully restored until after midnight.

FAU Experiencing Degraded Internet Performance

FAU is currently experiencing an outage of its primary connection to the internet. While all traffic has switched over to a backup connection and all services are available, users will experience decreased speeds to the internet until the issue is resolved. Our service provider is aware of the issue and working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
