IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/02/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of Maintenance:  We will be applying a security patch to the black board servers.
User Impact: Blackboard will be unavailable during this time

Affected Systems: tms.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: tms2.fau.edu (131.91.224.119) is to be added back into rotation for tms.fau.edu on BigIP
User impact: None Expected

When: 6:00 am to 7:00am
Affected Services: Banner System
Affected Systems: FAUP.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: FAUP.fau.edu data base configuration is to be modified in order to improve oracle stream performance.
User impact: None Expected

Banner TEST will be cloned during the day this Tuesday 1/31/2012 in preparation for the UNIX to Linux migration. Once available, TEST should be used for testing purposes only. Any changes made to TEST or the banoradev UNIX server will not be moved over to the new Linux server. Banner updates and development will be frozen until the Linux migration is complete.

The SafeAssign tool within Blackboard will be unavailable this Sunday, January 29 from 8:00am – 2:00pm due to a maintenance upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Blackboard will be unavailable from 3am – 6am Thursday January 19th while we perform preventative maintenance.

@10:00 a.m. The issue with the ECSWINS02 and ISS servers has been resolved

and the servers are now currently back up again.

Windows Adminstrator Steve Gilbert has been contacted and informed of their status.

He is currently working on bringing the servers back up.

FAU User services IRM Operations

What: Switch upgrades in our Dell blade chassis
When: 5:30am-6:30am, Friday January 13th
