Voice Systems Upgrades Davie
On Tuesday August 2nd CSI will be replacing hardware on the Davie campus in the maintenance window between 5am and 7am. There will be no phone service during the outage times.
In case of Emergency dial 911 from any cellular or non FAU phone
Northern Computing Services will be performing a switch upgrade on July 28, 2011.
Buildings effected: Jupiter – Honors College MC-01.
There will be no network connectivity wired or wireless between the hours of 5pm and 2am. Phone service will not be effected.
Broward Computing Services in conjunction with Networking will perform the following upgrades on July 22, 2011.

When: 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM Affected Services: All Middleware Services Affected Systems: All Middleware Systems Description of Maintenance: We will be installing Windows patches.
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07/14/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Self Service will be down for 10 minutes at 6:00 am to apply some patches.
When: 3:00 AM – 3:30 AM Affected Services: SharePoint Project Server Affected Systems: Spwfe1 Spwfe2 Spapp1 Description of Maintenance: We will be applying service pack 1 for Project Server 2010
When: 3:00 am – 6:00 am Affected Services: Talisma 8.5 Application and Database Affected Systems: TALAPP01 and TALDB01 servers Description of Maintenance: The Talisma 8.5 SP2 will be upgraded to service pack 4. All users will be logged off by 3:00 am to start the upgrade. Both the application and database servers will be unavailable during the maintenance window
FAU’s Online payment system will be unavailable on Friday, July 8th from 2:00am till 7:00am for system maintenance. Please try again at a later time.
Network: Temporary Fix Completed. The communications cable to the Info Booth Bldg 41 has been repaired. We are working on a permanent solution to this cable problem.

Engineering and Utilities has notified us that there will be an electrical outage tonight at 11:45 pm. The electrical outage should last for approximately one hour.
This will affect the southeast side of the Boca Raton campus, including the following buildings:
