Opt-in to Migrate to Microsoft Outlook 365

Starting Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at 6 am students will be prompted to optionally Migrate to Microsoft Office 365 when they login to various services and websites.

[RESOLVED]Issues logging on to Office 365 and other ADSF services

We are currently experiencing issues with ADSF that does not allow you to properly single-sign on (SSO) to Office 365 services such as Outlook Web and the new FortiClient VPN client. We are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.

BHRIC file server maintenance
Description of change: Research Computing will be performing maintenance on BHRIC file server. During this time, no files will be accessible.

Affected services: BHRIC
End-user impact: During this time, data located BHRIC file server will be unavailable.
This will cause errors during user login (vmware users that save thier profile here) and will casue drives to not be mounted if on physical machines and vmware users.

Description of change: This is a routine REDCap update. REDCap will be offline during update.

Description of change: OIT is changing the service provider for mymail webpage

uAchieve Term Updates
Description of change: The uAchieve web app will be updated to include Spring 2023, Summer 2023, and Fall 2023 for Audit Requests.

EDI changes for Student Written Communication Digital Badges
Description of change: Changes have been made to both inbound and outbound EDI process for post-secondary transcripts to comply with the new state laws. Digital badges values will be loaded to Banner from inbound transcripts, and FAU issued digital badges will be sent out on outbound EDI transcripts.

Description of change: All users will have enforced quotas 5GB added to their Google Workspace Accounts. Users will continue to be able to send and receive email but all other Google Workspace functions will be read-only.

Addition of Google Workspace Quota Login Prompt

Starting at 4 pm October 14th, 2022 users who are using more than 5GB in Google Workspace will receive a notification upon login to all SSO services. This prompt will continue until they decrease their Google Workspace usage. Please be aware that it may take up to 48 hours for Google correctly report usage to OIT so please be patient after cleaning up your account. More information may be located at the Google Workspace site. https://www.fau.edu/oit/google.
