High Performance Computing Cluster Offline
Due to a power outage on the Jupiter campus the Koko High Performance Computing Cluster is offline.

OIT will restart MyFAU at 10 p.m. tonight (Tue, June 7). We estimated the restart to take between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
After the restart, the Outlook icon in MyFAU will no longer automatically log in users to Outlook Web Access (OWA). Instead, users will be directed to the OWA login screen (exchange.fau.edu) and will need to authenticate in order to access their email.

FAU is currently experiencing an outage of its primary connection to the internet. While all traffic has switched over to a backup connection and all services are available, users will experience decreased speeds to the internet until the issue is resolved. Our service provider is aware of the issue and working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/02/2016 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of maintenance: OIT is increasing OS space for the fauappsrv2 server for EMS.
User impact: EMS will be down for 10 minutes while the disk is expanded.

[COMPLETED] TouchNet Payment processing system unavailable 5/18/16 due to maintenance

TouchNet systems has completed their maintenance. All systems are back online and ready for regular use.

The TouchNet payment processing system will be undergoing maintenance; from 3:00(am) to 7:00(am) –EST, on Wednesday 5/18/16.
This will affect student payment services (Bill+Payment), as well as all Marketplace Stores, uPay sites and TouchNet ready partner payment services.
We expect all systems to be back online no later than 7:00(am) that morning. A follow up notification will be sent out when the system is back online.
OIT Systems Maintenance, Saturday May 14th, 5-8am
OIT will be replacing an aging server rack and its networking components with a newer rack. This move could affect services such as Banner, Blackboard, Sharepoint and the like. However, no end user impact is expected.
